The growth in virtual products for sale within World of Warcraft does not appear to have turned players away. It's true that World of Warcraft ended 2013 with 7.8 WOTLK Gold million subscribers that is an increase of 200k over the prior quarter. Of course, this is down from the record-breaking 12 million subscribers after the launch in Wrath of the Lich King in the year 2010. But growth more than 9 years into a product's lifecycle--especially a paid MMO--is nothing short of impressive.

What are your thoughts on the present state of World of Warcraft as it has to do with microtransactions? Let us know in the comments below.

World of Warcraft : Would you spend $60 to auto-level an individual character to 90?

Soon you'll be able to choose of spending dozens of hours leveling your World of Warcraft character to 90 or even paying $60 to hit the current cap in a flash, according to an image pulled from the game's test servers, and then posted on MMO Champion. It's unclear if this is the ultimate price for the character upgrade, and we've reached out Blizzard tainment for comment.

A months ago Blizzard confirmed that you will soon be able to pay to upgrade the level of your World of Warcraft character to the level of 90. but they didn't provide a price for the service or how much it would cost. In addition to that, all pre-purchases in the coming expansion Warlords of Draenor allow players to automatically upgrade their characters instantly to level 90. Previously, this boost wasn't being unlocked until the expansion actually released. Pre-sales begin "soon."

If the past can serve as a an example, Warlords of Draenor should cost around $40. which means that buying the expansion will be the cheapest way to gain a level 90 character at the speed you want (unless it's the case that already has one already). If you have multiple characters, paying a single fee of $60 might be a feasible option even if you don't have tons of time improving your character.

The auto-leveling option of $60 is the newest microtransaction offering Blizzard is offering on World of Warcraft . You can also pay $30 for a faction switch and $25 for a race change and $10 for the name change, in addition to other options. Additionally, a variety of available mounts and pets are available to purchase separately on top of the game's existing $15/month subscription price.

Microtransactions appear to be set play a significant part in the future cheap WOW WOTLK Classic Gold  of Blizzard, considering that the studio recently established an "Microtransaction Strategist" business unit.
